It's almost like you can turn your worry off and just follow the procedure as lined out, and you will get it written. I found the unit on managing your time particularly useful. I have an elderly parent and three teenagers, and I work full time, so I never thought I'd actually get my romance novel finished. But I'd really like to earn extra money self publishing, and I've been trying to learn how to do it. The beat sheet she outlines is not specific to any one genre, so if you are going to be writing a romance novel, you'll have to go online and find one that is romance specific. I highly recommend this course.

Read MoreI had a good feeling about the course after following the author on social media. I hadn't realized she also had a career in education, so it seemed natural to expect this course to at least be at a minimum level of copetence. It far exceeded my expectations. I've been writing for many years, so I already have quite a bit of knowledge on the subject. Naturally, I expected to be a bit bored at times, but I was pleasantly surprised. She proposes a method I had not considered (I did know about beat sheets and personally do not use them, though I found the lesson entertaining and helpful). The agent interview was a pleasant surprise as well. Overall, a very positive experience.
